Long Time No See

Hey guys!

I'm sorry it's been a few days since I posted.  It's been crazy busy over here, but I have some fun news!  I have been studying for my CDL so I can be a bus driver next year, and I took my written test on Thursday morning and I passed!!!  Yay!

This morning I did my first training drive, and I think I'm going to love it!

Also, I have my first in-home workshop tomorrow.

I'm excited but nervous.  Have you ever been to a Stampin' Up workshop before?  What was your favorite part?  Leave me a comment below.  I'd love to hear about the workshops you've been to.  :)

New Video In The Works

I'm so excited to share a preview picture of a project video I'm working on for you today.

I was hoping that my Paper Pumpkin would be delivered today, so I could shoot a video on that for you, but, alas, it will probably not be here until tomorrow.  So, you'll probably get fun videos two days in a row.  LOL!

Happy Saturday and Paper Pumpkin sequins

Happy Saturday everyone!  I hope you are having a wonderful day.  😊

We have had a mostly lazy Saturday here, but I did find a small amount of time to craft.

If you've watched my Paper Pumpkin video, you probably remember these:

After making all my cards, I still had some of the sequins left, so today I put those to good use.

I used tha stamp set Jar Of Love, item #141587, along with the matching framelits which I just got, Everyday Jars, item #141490.

I decided to try my hand at making shaker cards, and I think I did ok.  Here are the first ones I made, with dapper denim cardstock, along with dapper denim ink and peekaboo peach ink.  What do you think?

Fourth of July - Stampin' Up! Balloon Builders Class Pre-order Ends Tonight

Hi everyone!  I hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend!  We drove to Utah to visit family and I had a blast!  I got to hang out with my sister, who is my sponsor for Stampin' Up! And we had so much fun!

First off, I want to remind you that today is the last day to pre-order my Balloon Builders online class.  I have room for 3 more people.

Let me show you some of the fun stuff I made this weekend.

I love this stamp set!  I was inspired to make these to send as thank you cards to my Jamberry friends as that is one of our slogans.

This is one of four(?) Christmas cards I made this weekend, and I think the snowman is so cute!  It was fun to work with some of Stampin' Up!'s glimmer paper for the first time, and I can guarantee you it will not be the last.  I've used sparkle paper before, but it does not hold a candle to the SU glimmer paper.  When you move this around in the light, it really looks like the light is moving on it.  

I love this card because I used the Watermelon Wonder stamp pad for the flower color, and it looks a lot softer than watermelon wonder usually looks.  This card really shows the versatility of our colors to me.

Last one for today!  If you have watched my catalog reveal video, you know I love this stamp set.  The sayings in this set are totally my kind of humor, so I loved being able to finally use it.

All in all, it was a fun weekend being able to use different stamp sets and colors that I don't have yet.

Also, we went to a family luncheon on Monday for Independence Day, and it was very fun.
